  Dr. Adam C. Szatkowski

  Dr. Szatkowski completed his undergraduate training at Lake Forest College, in Lake Forest Illinois and went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Illinois at Chicago. He holds memberships in the ADA (American Dental Association), CDS (Chicago Dental Society), AGD (Academy of General Dentistry), ISDS (Illinois State Dental Society). Dr. Szatkowski has always been a familiar face at Associated Dental Care. He accompanied his father Dr. Frank R. Szatkowski to the office on many occasions and learned at an early age he wanted to become a dentist. Dr. Szatkowski strives to provide his patients with the latest technology in dental care while maintaining a non-aggressive approach .He enjoys spending most of his free time playing handball, fishing, Enjoys fishing trips to Canada & Mexico and enjoying the outdoors with his daughters and wife. He is 2012 National Open Doubles Handball Champion .

  Dr. John C. Mackenbach

  Dr. Mackenbach completed his undergraduate training at Augustana College in Rock     Island, Illinois and went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery at Ohio State Dental School. Dr. Mackenbach was born and raised in St. Marys, Ohio where his father was the local dentist. After graduating from dental school in 1971, he joined the US Navy Dental Corps as a First Lieutenant and was stationed at Great Lakes Naval Base from 1971-1974. Dr. Mackenbach joined the late Dr. Frank R. Szatkowski and Dr. Matthew J. Gryzlo at the first established dental practice in Bloomindgale which later became Associated Dental Care. When not providing excellent dental care to his patients, Dr. Mackenbach enjoys traveling with his family, fishing all over the world, cooking exotic foods, and creating beautiful ceramic pieces.

  Dr. James K. Weiss

  Dr. Weiss was born Alton IL, son to Arthur and Evelyn, brother to Katie. He graduated from Alton Sr. High School in 1973, a double National Honor Society Member and part of the 2nd place IL State High School Baseball Championship squad. Dr. Weiss choose to attend the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana in 1973, over joining the Kansas City Royals Professional Baseball Organization. He graduated in 1977 where he played baseball in addition to studying pre-dentistry. He went the University of Illinois College of Dentistry Chicago from 1977-1981. Dr. Weiss met his beautiful wife Sharon at Champaign and they were married in 1977. They have two sons Michael, age 20, a law student at Loyola and Adam, age 19, a communications student at DePaul. Dr. Weiss has been practicing general dentistry primarily in the Western suburbs for 31 years. He is a baseball fanatic (Go Figure), loves all sports and is an avid reader.

  Dr. Lisa Vihnanek

  Dr. Lisa Vihnanek completed her undergraduate education at Illinois State University. In 2002, she graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago Dental School with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She then completed a one year residency at Illinois Masonic Hospital. Dr. Vihnanek consistently strives to enhance her skills and knowledge. Recently she completed almost 5 times the required hours of continuing education to offer our patients the most up-to-date dental care available. Dr. Vihnanek participates in the Spear Faculty Club and Seattle Study Club working with other dentists and specialists in bringing the most comprehensive dental treatment to patients in one practice. One of the highlights of her career was volunteering for a mission trip to provide dental care and hygiene education in Panama. Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, Dr. Vihnanek has an affinity for her home town. She enjoys participating in marathons and triathlons having completed the Ironman competition in 2007. Dr. Vihnanek also enjoys traveling and spending time with her nieces and nephew.
